Our work

HKARC aims to provide legal advice, material assistance, and mental health support in the UK to those who have been directly involved in or impacted by events in Hong Kong resulting in substantial fear of infringement of their human rights.

Forms of assistance that we may provide to individuals include:

  • Legal support and advice for immigration and asylum application
  • Provision of free or low-cost accommodation to those would cannot afford private rentals
  • Provision of appropriate mental health support for a range of issues including anxiety, depression, and psychological trauma
  • Future plans include support on cultural integration into the UK, such as workshops on English communication and cultural learning
Details of access and application to our services would be published on this website and our social media when they go live. Applications would be assessed to ensure resources are directed to those who need it the most.
